“Your Daily Dose” is a quick two minute read packed with bite-sized wisdom from all the great teachers. But you could also choose to turn it into something more… a powerful daily practice for personal growth. Give it a try!
A message from today’s meditation:
Either everything is of God, or nothing is of God. If there is a creator then it can’t be true that only certain things were made by the creator and others not, and what this means is that YOU… you are a part of God… and this already makes you worthy. You are worthy and deserving just because you breathe, and your heart beats.
We can of course give our understanding of God lots of different names: Source, The Divine, The Universe, The Field and I don’t think that this source of creation minds too much what labels humans throw around but the point remains the same:
YOU are worthy because you ARE consciousness itself, manifested in form.
“Just for today, allow yourself to embrace all that you are every moment. Know that you are a vessel of light. Allow yourself to release all doubts about your ability, the mistakes of the past, and the fear of the future.” – Iyanla Vanzant
“Self-worth is an understanding on the intellectual level, a trusting at the heart level, and accepting at the soul level that you are worthy just because you believe that you are. Your worthiness is proven by your very existence. Your breathing. The beating of your heart. Your mere presence is all that is needed to establish your worth.” – Iyanla Vanzant
“Beloveds, you are fine, just the way you are! Perfect in your imperfection! You are divine! Growing brighter and more brilliant each day that you can accept the truth of who you are.” – Iyanla Vanzant
“When was the last time you thanked YOU for always being there for you? Self appreciation soothes an aching soul.” – Iyanla Vanzant
Everything in existence, from the tiniest atom to the vastest galaxy, is interconnected. Every particle, every being, is a part of a grand cosmic tapestry. This tapestry is woven with threads of consciousness, and you are one of those threads.
Your existence is not a fluke; you are a deliberate expression of the divine.
Acknowledging your inherent worthiness is just the beginning of this transformative journey. What follows is the daily practice of remembering and returning to this truth. When you catch yourself in self-judgment, pause and reconnect with your breath – that simple evidence of your divine nature. When past mistakes surface, meet them with compassion rather than criticism. When anxiety about the future arises, anchor yourself in the present moment where your worthiness simply is, without conditions or requirements.
This isn’t about achieving perfection or never doubting yourself again. It’s about building a new relationship with yourself, one moment at a time. It’s about catching those old patterns of unworthiness when they appear and gently redirecting your attention back to the truth: you are consciousness itself, experiencing life in human form.
So, how can you cultivate a deeper sense of self-worth? Here are a few statements for you to try out. Claim them out loud and see which feels like it’s a statement you can own. Or perhaps they all work for you? :
- “I am a divine manifestation of consciousness.”
- “My worthiness is inherent; I don’t need to prove it.”
- “I am connected to everything in existence.”
- “I am loved and accepted simply because I am.”
- “I am worthy of love, joy, and fulfillment.”
There’s no right or wrong way to embrace your divine potential. Simply allow yourself to be open, curious, and compassionate. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty and wonder of your existence. You are a unique and valuable part of this world. You are a vessel of light, capable of great things.
My heart feels really full and too big for my chest right now, I hope that your heart feels full this Friday.

Practice the “Daily Dose”
Let’s put it into practice! Choose what works for you – daily, once a week or whenever inspiration strikes. Putting pen to paper wires the neural pathways that will create your new habits.
1 – Affirmation
Write down your favourite affirmation on a sticky note and place it somewhere that you’ll be able to see it the whole day.
- “I am a divine manifestation of consciousness.”
- “My worthiness is inherent; I don’t need to prove it.”
- “I am connected to everything in existence.”
- “I am loved and accepted simply because I am.”
- “I am worthy of love, joy, and fulfillment.”
2 – A moment of reflection
Use today’s question as a journal prompt. If you don’t have the time to sit down and write, just take a moment to reflect on your response.
Practicing Self-Appreciation: Consider Vanzant’s question: “When was the last time you thanked YOU for always being there for you?” Write a heartfelt letter of appreciation to yourself. Acknowledge the challenges you’ve overcome, the strength you’ve shown, the love you’ve given, and the ways you’ve supported yourself through difficult times. What would you want to thank yourself for that you’ve never acknowledged before?
3 – Quotes to share
Send a quote to someone who needs it, or share them all on social media to spread the good vibes!

4 – Q&A for deeper learning
Read through the questions and answers and write down at least one “aha moment” that clicked for you.
1. What does it mean to be “consciousness itself, manifested in form”?
This concept suggests that you are not separate from the divine consciousness that created everything—you ARE that consciousness expressing itself through your unique human experience. Just as a wave is not separate from the ocean but is the ocean in a particular form, you are the divine creative force experiencing itself through your individual perspective, thoughts, and life journey.
2. How can my worthiness be inherent if I’ve made so many mistakes?
Your worthiness to be a human being is not determined by your actions, achievements, or mistakes. As Iyanla Vanzant explains, “Your worthiness is proven by your very existence. Your breathing. The beating of your heart.” Mistakes are part of the human experience and growth process—they don’t diminish your fundamental divine nature any more than clouds diminish the sky they temporarily pass through.
3. If everyone is divine and worthy, why do I still struggle with self-doubt and low self-esteem?
Knowing something intellectually and embodying it emotionally are different processes. We’re conditioned from birth by families, society, and culture to believe our worth must be earned or proven. Recognizing your divine nature is the first step, but integrating this truth requires consistent practice, self-compassion, and often the release of deeply held limiting beliefs about yourself.
4. How do I practically “embrace all that I am” when I don’t like certain parts of myself?
Start by viewing your perceived flaws or challenges as a part of the human experience that we all share – every single one of us makes mistakes, constantly. Practice the concept of being “perfect in your imperfection”—these aspects of yourself may serve purposes you don’t yet understand, or they may be areas where your greatest growth and gifts will emerge. Begin with acceptance before moving toward love.
5. What’s the difference between self-worth and self-esteem?
Self-worth, as described in this article, is the recognition of your inherent value that exists regardless of circumstances, performance, or others’ opinions. It’s rooted in understanding yourself as a divine expression rather than a human trying to prove their value. Self-esteem simply means that you are able to hold yourself in high “esteem”, even while you recognize your own shortcomings.
6. How can I maintain this sense of divine worth during difficult times or when facing criticism?
Remember that external circumstances and others’ opinions cannot change your fundamental nature as consciousness in form. Practice the affirmations regularly: “My worthiness is inherent; I don’t need to prove it.” During challenging times, return to the basics—your breath, your heartbeat—as proof of your belonging in this universe. Consider criticism as information rather than a verdict on your worth.
7. Is this teaching compatible with different religious or spiritual beliefs?
The article intentionally uses universal terms—”Source, The Divine, The Universe, The Field”—to acknowledge that this truth transcends specific religious labels. Whether you call it God, Allah, Buddha nature, Universal Consciousness, or another name, the core message remains: you are not separate from the creative force of existence. This teaching can complement and deepen most spiritual traditions rather than contradict them.
