The truth of your being is that you are pure LOVE!

“Your Daily Dose” is a quick two minute read packed with bite-sized wisdom from all the great teachers. But you could also choose to turn it into something more… a powerful daily practice for personal growth. Give it a try!

A message from today’s meditation:

YOU are a portal for love to shine into this world! Every small gesture, every moment of genuine connection, every act of kindness serves as evidence of this deeper truth. When you reach out to touch someone else’s life, even in the smallest way, you’re not only helping them – you’re experiencing the authentic nature of your own being.

This recognition shifts everything. Instead of searching frantically for love in external circumstances, relationships, or achievements, you begin to understand that love isn’t something you need to find. It’s something you are, something you express, something you share.

Underneath all of the fear response, the coping mechanisms, the old patterns, the bad habits – the truth of your being is that you are pure LOVE!

“Love can be sent to others in a thousand ways. Even thoughts of love can change things. They can be felt. By you, and by the person you are thinking of, too. Yes, they can. Help others by loving them, simply, plainly, openly, without condition.” – Neale Donald Walsch

“Love is not what you want, it is what you are. It is very important to not get these two confused. If you think that love is the thing you want, you will go searching for it all over the place. If you think love is the thing you are, you will go sharing it all over the place. The second approach will cause you to find what the searching will never reveal.” – Neale Donald Walsch

“Pure love is who you are! When you express pure love, you give yourself the direct experience of who you are. It is the greatest gift! It looks as if you’re giving a gift to others, but in fact you are giving it to yourself, that is because there is no one else in the room, it only looks as if there is.” – Neale Donald Walsch

Your only job is to do the work to discover (or actually remember) who you are, and then to double down on that. You are made of love and so every time you express love, you get to experience the truth of your being. If you turn your search for love around and make it a quest to find all of the ways in which you can express love – then you will start to notice those rare individuals who are doing the same, and you will become surrounded by an abundance of love.

Every interaction becomes an opportunity to practice your true nature. Every challenge becomes a chance to choose love over fear. Every day becomes an adventure in discovering new ways to let your light shine.

So, how can you begin to unleash the love within? Here are a few guiding mantras to reflect on:

  • “I am pure love expressing itself in human form.”
  • “Every act of kindness reveals my true nature.”
  • “I am a portal through which love enters the world.”
  • “When I give love freely, I experience my own authentic self.”

By living a life that radiates love, you not only make a difference in the world but also experience a profound sense of fulfillment and joy. So, let your light shine brightly and let love be your guiding star.

Have a beautiful Friday beautiful people! Thank you for being a source of light in your world.

Practice the “Daily Dose”

Let’s put it into practice! Choose what works for you – daily, once a week or whenever inspiration strikes. Putting pen to paper wires the neural pathways that will create your new habits.

1 – Affirmation

Write down your favourite affirmation on a sticky note and place it somewhere that you’ll be able to see it the whole day.

  • “I am pure love expressing itself in human form.”
  • “Every act of kindness reveals my true nature.”
  • “I am a portal through which love enters the world.”
  • “When I give love freely, I experience my own authentic self.”

2 – A moment of reflection

Use today’s question as a journal prompt. If you don’t have the time to sit down and write, just take a moment to reflect on your response.

The Hidden Gift: Explore the concept that when you give love, you’re actually giving yourself “the direct experience of who you are.” Think about recent moments when you’ve expressed love, kindness, or compassion. What did you notice about how it felt to give versus receive? Write about how expressing love reveals something deeper about your identity and purpose. How might this understanding transform your approach to relationships and service?

3 – Quotes to share

Send a quote to someone who needs it, or share them all on social media to spread the good vibes!

4 – Q&A for deeper learning

Read through the questions and answers and write down at least one “aha moment” that clicked for you.

1. What does it mean that “you are pure love”?

Being pure love means that at your core essence, beneath all conditioning and learned behaviors, your fundamental nature is love itself. This isn’t about being perfect or always acting lovingly—it’s about recognizing that love is your authentic self, not something you need to acquire or earn. Like the sun that continues to shine even when clouds obscure it, your loving nature remains constant even when fear or pain temporarily covers it.

2. How can I tell if I’m expressing my true nature versus seeking love from others?

When you’re expressing your true nature, acts of love feel natural and fulfilling regardless of the response you receive. There’s no hidden agenda or expectation of reciprocation. When you’re seeking love, your actions often come with conditions or expectations, and you may feel disappointed or resentful if others don’t respond as you hoped. True expression of love leaves you feeling energized and authentic, while seeking love often leaves you feeling depleted or needy.

3. How do I start living from love when I’m surrounded by negativity or difficult people?

Start small and focus on what you can control—your own responses and energy. Remember that expressing love doesn’t mean being passive or allowing others to mistreat you. It means responding from a place of inner strength and compassion rather than fear or reaction. Even in challenging situations, you can choose to maintain your loving nature by setting healthy boundaries, speaking truthfully but kindly, and not taking others’ behavior personally.

4. What are the “fear responses” and “coping mechanisms” that cover up our true loving nature?

These are protective strategies we develop to avoid emotional pain, such as building walls around our hearts, becoming overly critical or defensive, seeking control, people-pleasing, or withdrawing from connection. These mechanisms often develop in childhood or during difficult experiences as ways to feel safe. While they may have served a purpose at one time, they can prevent us from experiencing and expressing our authentic loving nature.

5. How can I attract more love into my life without “seeking” it?

Focus on being a source of love rather than a seeker of it. Practice expressing genuine care, interest, and compassion in your daily interactions. When you consistently operate from your loving nature, you naturally attract others who resonate with that energy. It’s like tuning into a radio frequency—when you broadcast love, you’re more likely to pick up signals from others doing the same.

6. What does it mean that “there is no one else in the room”?

This refers to the deeper spiritual understanding that at the most fundamental level, we are all connected and part of the same universal consciousness. When you give love to another person, you’re actually giving it to yourself because there’s no true separation between you and others. This doesn’t mean individuals don’t exist, but rather that beneath our separate identities, we share the same essential nature. This perspective helps explain why acts of love feel so fulfilling—you’re literally experiencing your own true nature reflected back to you.
