“Your Daily Dose” is a quick two minute read packed with bite-sized wisdom from all the great teachers. But you could also choose to turn it into something more… a powerful daily practice for personal growth. Give it a try!
A message from today’s meditation:
“The Serenity Prayer” remains one of my favourite pieces of wisdom because of its simplicity. These three lines recognize that the things we deal with cannot be fit into simple black and white boxes.
We can’t base our decisions on a simplistic recipe that always responds to everything in a predetermined way. Sometimes our best course of action is no action at all, to let things be and not waste our energy trying to control what is not ours to control. And sometimes we need to step up to the plate, take the bat in our two hands and swing as hard as we can at the balls flying towards us.
But more than anything, these three simple lines of the Serenity Prayer recognize that it can be really hard to know when is the right time to rest, and when is the right time to run – when to fold and when to fight? Where do we go for that wisdom?
“Your soul – that inner quiet space – is yours to consult. It will always guide you in the right direction.” – Wayne Dyer
“Being infinitely patient means having an absolute knowing that you’re in vibrational harmony with the all-creating force that intended you here. You know that everything will happen at just the right time, at just the right place, with just the right people.” – Wayne Dyer
Your soul, in its timeless wisdom understands life’s complexities. Your soul has clarity about what is within your control, and what is just not. Your soul knows where you need the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, and your soul is your source of courage to change the things that you can.
Divine wisdom flows through you… it is for you to bring yourself to sit at the feet of your soul and ask, “what must I learn to accept and surrender, and where do I take action and make a change?”
A few affirmations taken from the serenity prayer:
- “I trust my inner wisdom to guide me toward right action and peaceful acceptance.”
- “I have the courage to act when action is needed and the serenity to accept what I cannot change.”
- “My soul’s wisdom is always available to me when I create quiet space to listen.”
Come and join us for today’s meditation journey to make this exercise as practical as possible.

Practice the “Daily Dose”
Let’s put it into practice! Choose what works for you – daily, once a week or whenever inspiration strikes. Putting pen to paper wires the neural pathways that will create your new habits.
1 – Affirmation
Write down your favourite affirmation on a sticky note and place it somewhere that you’ll be able to see it the whole day.
- “I trust my inner wisdom to guide me toward right action and peaceful acceptance.”
- “I have the courage to act when action is needed and the serenity to accept what I cannot change.”
- “My soul’s wisdom is always available to me when I create quiet space to listen.”
2 – A moment of reflection
Use today’s question as a journal prompt. If you don’t have the time to sit down and write, just take a moment to reflect on your response.
Today’s journal prompt asks three questions:
Am I trying to control something that is beyond my control? Recognizing the limitations of our control can help us avoid unnecessary stress and frustration. Am I avoiding taking action when I know I should? Procrastination can hinder our progress and prevent us from realizing our goals. Am I being patient and trusting in the divine timing of the universe? Sometimes, the best course of action is to let go and allow things to unfold naturally.
3 – Quotes to share
Send a quote to someone who needs it, or share them all on social media to spread the good vibes!

4 – Q&A for deeper learning
Read through the questions and answers and write down at least one “aha moment” that clicked for you.
1. How do I know if I’m consulting my soul’s wisdom versus just my emotions or fears?
Soul wisdom typically feels calm, grounded, and expansive, even when it’s guiding you toward challenging action. It doesn’t rush you or create panic. Emotional reactions and fears tend to feel urgent, constrictive, and often push you toward immediate action or complete avoidance. Soul wisdom invites you to pause, breathe, and consider the bigger picture. It feels aligned with your deeper values and long-term wellbeing, not just immediate comfort or relief.
2. What if I can’t find that “inner quiet space” that Wayne Dyer talks about?
The inner quiet space isn’t necessarily silent—it’s more about finding a sense of centeredness beneath the mental noise. Start with small moments: take three deep breaths before making decisions, spend a few minutes in nature, or practice simple meditation. Even in busy periods, you can create micro-moments of connection by asking yourself, “What feels most true right now?” The key is consistency in creating these small pauses rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
3. How can I tell the difference between healthy patience and harmful passivity?
Healthy patience feels active and aware—you’re consciously choosing to wait while remaining open to guidance and opportunities. You’re still engaged with the situation but not forcing outcomes. Harmful passivity feels heavy, stuck, or defeated. It often comes from fear, overwhelm, or giving up responsibility. Healthy patience includes regular check-ins with yourself about whether the timing feels right for action, while passivity avoids these conversations entirely.
4. What if my soul’s wisdom tells me to do something that seems impractical or scary?
Soul wisdom often does call us toward growth that feels uncomfortable or challenging. The key is to distinguish between wisdom that feels expansive (even if scary) versus actions that feel reckless or driven by ego. True soul guidance usually includes a sense of rightness and alignment, even amid the fear. Consider taking small steps in that direction rather than dramatic leaps. Trust builds gradually as you follow your inner guidance in smaller matters first.
5. How do I apply this wisdom when I’m facing urgent decisions with tight deadlines?
Even in urgent situations, you can take a moment to center yourself. Before reacting, take one deep breath and ask, “What is within my control right now?” Focus only on your immediate response and actions, not on controlling the outcome. Quick decisions made from a centered place are often more effective than rushed reactions. Remember that urgency doesn’t negate the principle—it just requires faster application of the same wisdom.
6. What does “divine timing” actually mean in practical terms?
Divine timing refers to trusting that things unfold when they’re meant to, while still taking inspired action. It’s not about sitting back and waiting for things to happen to you. Instead, it’s about preparing yourself, taking steps when they feel right, and releasing attachment to specific timelines. It means recognizing that some doors open easily when the timing is right, while others require patience and persistence. Your role is to stay prepared and responsive, not to force outcomes.
7. How can I develop more trust in my inner wisdom when I’ve made mistakes following my intuition before?
First, recognize that learning discernment is a skill that develops over time. Past mistakes don’t invalidate your inner wisdom—they’re part of refining your ability to hear it clearly. Often, what we think was “wrong” intuition was actually our inner wisdom mixed with fear, wishful thinking, or external pressure. Start by reflecting on decisions that felt truly aligned and worked out well. Practice with smaller, lower-stakes decisions to build confidence. Remember that even when outcomes don’t match expectations, following your authentic inner guidance often leads to important growth and learning.
