“Your Daily Dose” is a quick two minute read packed with bite-sized wisdom from all the great teachers. But you could also choose to turn it into something more… a powerful daily practice for personal growth. Give it a try!
A message from today’s meditation:
Do you ever dismiss miracles as fantastical occurrences reserved for saints or superheroes? You wouldn’t be alone of course, most of us have been taught to see miracles as supernatural events – divine interventions that defy the laws of physics. But what if miracles aren’t about breaking natural laws at all? What if they’re simply about breaking free from the stories that limit what we believe is possible?
This reframe changes everything. It means you don’t need to wait for divine intervention to experience miracles in your life. You need to recognize where your current story is holding you back from what’s already available to you.
Charles Eisenstein is our teacher for this week, and he brings this beautiful twist to the understanding of the miraculous:
“We have to create miracles. A miracle is not the intercession of an external divine agency in violation of the laws of physics. A miracle is simply something that is impossible from an old story but possible from within a new one. It is an expansion of what is possible.” – Charles Eisenstein
For the start of this week, and during today’s meditation, I offer you three reflections to spend a bit of time on. Find a bit of quiet time and ask yourself these three questions. And of course I’m going to remind you that putting pen to paper to record your responses is always a helpful exercise.
We’ll start with this quote first:
“We are all here to contribute our gifts toward something greater than ourselves, and will never be content unless we are.” – Charles Eisenstein
Charles reminds you that you have gifts to offer the world whether you think you do or not. Maybe you think you have a mundane job that doesn’t add much value to the world, or perhaps you’re a stay at home mom who feels that the world is passing you by.
It’s easy to think that we’re only contributing productively when we impact the world in big ways, but I HAVE to remind you that even the tiniest hidden wildflower that has never been seen by a human eye brings a unique gift to the world, and so do you!
You don’t necessarily need to change what you do, but we can all make changes to how we do what we do. So the first question for this week is:
- Q: Without changing what I do, how could I more clearly bring my gifts to what I’m already doing?
And then let’s get back to the miracles… I just love his basic explanation that a miracle is simply something that seems impossible from your current (or old) story, something that you were sure would never become available to you, until you evolve enough to see possibility where before you only saw a dead end.
So here’s the second reflection for this week. Are you telling yourself dead-end stories about your life? Are you creating your own blindness to what is possible to you? Take a pause and really sit with this question for a while:
- Q: What miracle is my old story withholding from me?
Sometimes it seems that it will take a miracle to resolve the current turmoil that we’re experiencing in the world, or is this just another example of how the disempowering story we tell ourselves blinds us to what is possible.
“The gift economy represents a shift from consumption to contribution, transaction to trust, scarcity to abundance and isolation to community.” – Charles Eisenstein
When we all truly realize our gifts and show up bringing our best to everything we do, then maybe this will become true… then maybe we’ll create a miracle together, a world that is based on more contribution and less consumption.
What is the miracle that we need for a healthier society to bloom? What is the impossible thing that becomes available simply because we choose to live from a new story?
Taking guidance from today’s quotes here is the third reflection for this week:
- Q: What hidden gifts will I uncover as I embrace a new, more empowering story?
We are each already a living, breathing miracle and the only thing that prevents us from being a part of the great miracle that the world needs, is hiding our gifts and telling ourselves disempowering stories.
Here are some guiding mantras to keep you on your miracle-making journey:
- “I am a gift to the world, and the world is a gift to me.”
- “My story is not fixed; I can rewrite it at any moment.”
- “Every act of contribution, big or small, is a miracle in motion.”
This week, let’s rewrite the script. Let’s embrace our gifts, challenge our limitations, and co-create a world where miracles blossom from the stories we choose to tell.

Practice the “Daily Dose”
Let’s put it into practice! Choose what works for you – daily, once a week or whenever inspiration strikes. Putting pen to paper wires the neural pathways that will create your new habits.
1 – Affirmation
Write down your favourite affirmation on a sticky note and place it somewhere that you’ll be able to see it the whole day.
- “I am a gift to the world, and the world is a gift to me.”
- “My story is not fixed; I can rewrite it at any moment.”
- “Every act of contribution, big or small, is a miracle in motion.”
2 – A moment of reflection
Use today’s question as a journal prompt. If you don’t have the time to sit down and write, just take a moment to reflect on your response.
There are already three questions in today’s article. Grab a pen and paper and write down your response to just one of the questions or even all three:
- Q: Without changing what I do, how could I more clearly bring my gifts to what I’m already doing?
- Q: What miracle is my old story withholding from me?
- Q: What hidden gifts will I uncover as I embrace a new, more empowering story?
3 – Quotes to share
Send a quote to someone who needs it, or share them all on social media to spread the good vibes!

4 – Q&A for deeper learning
Read through the questions and answers and write down at least one “aha moment” that clicked for you.
Q1. What is a miracle according to this new perspective?
A miracle isn’t a supernatural violation of natural laws or divine intervention. Instead, it’s something that seems impossible from within your current story or belief system but becomes possible when you adopt a new, more expansive perspective. Miracles are expansions of what you believe is possible, not breaks in reality itself.
Q2. Do I need to have an extraordinary life or career to contribute meaningful gifts to the world?
Absolutely not. Every person contributes unique gifts regardless of their job title or life circumstances. Even a wildflower that blooms unseen, brings something irreplaceable to the world. Your gifts don’t need to be dramatic or visible to matter deeply. The key is bringing your full presence and authenticity to whatever you’re already doing.
Q3. How can I identify the “old story” that’s limiting me?
Pay attention to the areas of your life where you’ve decided something is impossible or where you feel stuck. Listen to your internal dialogue for phrases like “I could never,” “that’s not realistic for someone like me,” or “I’ve missed my chance.” These narratives reveal where your old story is creating artificial limitations on what’s available to you.
Q4. Do I need to change my job or make big life changes to live from a new story?
Not necessarily. The transformation often isn’t about changing what you do but rather how you do it. You can bring your gifts more fully to your current circumstances by shifting your perspective, your presence, and your intention. Small changes in approach can create significant ripples without requiring dramatic external changes.
Q5. How do individual miracles contribute to collective transformation?
When you rewrite your limiting stories and share your gifts more fully, you don’t just change your own life—you model possibility for others. This creates a ripple effect that contributes to larger social transformation. As more people embrace empowering stories and show up authentically, we collectively create the conditions for systemic miracles to emerge.
Q6. What if I genuinely don’t know what my gifts are?
Start by noticing what comes naturally to you, what others appreciate about you, or what activities make you feel most alive and present. Your gifts might be as simple as your ability to listen deeply, to bring joy to everyday moments, or to see beauty where others overlook it. Often, we dismiss our gifts precisely because they feel effortless to us. Remember that even showing up with presence and care in your daily interactions is a profound gift to the world.
