The wisdom of your soul, is the essence of who you truly are.

“Your Daily Dose” is a quick two minute read packed with bite-sized wisdom from all the great teachers. But you could also choose to turn it into something more… a powerful daily practice for personal growth. Give it a try!

A message from today’s meditation:

There is wisdom within you.

We are never truly disconnected from the eternal presence of our soul, yet it can sometimes feel that way, and the reason is simple: our fears are screaming while our soul is whispering. When anxiety rises and uncertainty grips us, that inner voice of wisdom becomes nearly impossible to hear beneath the cacophony of worry and doubt.

The truth is that wisdom lives within each of us, waiting patiently to be heard. But accessing this wisdom requires something that we can find challenging – we must first heal what has been hurt within us. Our unhealed wounds amplify our fears, creating a deafening internal noise that blocks our connection to our deepest knowing.

“I have always tried to make room for anything that wanted to come to me from within.” – Carl Jung

“In each of us is another whom we do not know. He speaks to us in dreams and tells us how differently he sees us from the way we see ourselves.” – Carl Jung

“The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.” – Carl Jung

When we allow our fears to dictate our actions, we distance ourselves from this inner wisdom. By healing the wounds of the past, we can quiet the noise and create a space for the soul to speak.

The wisdom of your soul, is the essence of who you truly are – everything else is just baggage accumulated along the way. You have known this before, and you can trust yourself to always find your way back to this place again.

When we are present with our soul’s wisdom, we tap into a wellspring of creativity, intuition, and peace. We begin to see the world with fresh eyes, recognizing the beauty and interconnectedness of all things. The challenges we face become opportunities for growth, and the fears that once held us back dissolve into courage and confidence.

Walking closely to the presence of your soul requires intentional practice. Learn to distinguish the voice of your soul from the voice of fear – your soul knows the way forward, while fear only knows how to keep you stuck in the past. Embrace stillness, for it is in these quiet moments that wisdom arises most clearly. Practice deep self-compassion, being as kind to yourself as you would be to a beloved friend.

A few thoughts to help you walk closely to the presence of your soul:

  • “I trust the wisdom of my soul.”
  • “I am healing from the loud wounds of the past, creating space for wisdom to be heard.”
  • “I’m learning to recognize the difference between fear’s noise and my soul’s whisper.”
  • “I am more than my wounds – I am the eternal essence beneath them.”
  • “I create stillness in my life so I can hear my inner guidance.”

The journey to our souls is a lifelong adventure, filled with twists and turns. There will be moments of doubt and uncertainty, but also moments of profound clarity and insight. By practicing mindfulness, meditation, and other spiritual practices, we can cultivate a deeper connection with our inner selves.

Join us for today’s journey to come and sit at the feet of your soul.

Practice the “Daily Dose”

Let’s put it into practice! Choose what works for you – daily, once a week or whenever inspiration strikes. Putting pen to paper wires the neural pathways that will create your new habits.

1 – Affirmation

Write down your favourite affirmation on a sticky note and place it somewhere that you’ll be able to see it the whole day.

2 – A moment of reflection

Use today’s question as a journal prompt. If you don’t have the time to sit down and write, just take a moment to reflect on your response.

The Baggage You Carry: Carl Jung suggests there is an “other” within us – our soul – that sees us differently than we see ourselves. We grow up learning to see ourselves through the information presented to us, by the people around us. Every spoken word, the body language we observe, even every little facial expression builds the picture of how we see ourselves. Yet, there is something that we were before the world told us who we “should” be, and THAT is what Carl Jung speaks about, the part of you that see’s your essence, the “being” without the baggage. What “baggage” have you accumulated that isn’t really you? What would remain if you could set down the fears, limiting beliefs, and old wounds you’ve been carrying? What would YOU see if you could take a look at your original being?

3 – Quotes to share

Send a quote to someone who needs it, or share them all on social media to spread the good vibes!

4 – Q&A for deeper learning

Read through the questions and answers and write down at least one “aha moment” that clicked for you.

Q: What’s the difference between the voice of my soul and the voice of my fear?

A: The voice of your soul typically feels calm, grounded, and expansive—even when it’s guiding you toward something challenging. It opens possibilities and feels aligned with your deepest values. Fear’s voice, on the other hand, is urgent, constricting, and focused on worst-case scenarios. It limits your potential and keeps you playing small. Your soul whispers wisdom; fear shouts warnings.

Q: Why can’t I hear my soul’s wisdom even when I try to listen?

A: When we have unhealed wounds and unprocessed pain, our fears become amplified and drown out the quieter voice of our soul. It’s like trying to hear a whisper in a room full of people shouting. The path to hearing your soul more clearly involves healing what has been hurt within you, which gradually turns down the volume on fear.

Q: Do I need to meditate to connect with my soul?

A: While meditation is a powerful tool for connecting with your inner wisdom, it’s not the only path. Any practice that creates stillness and presence can help—walking in nature, creative expression, breathwork, contemplative prayer, or simply sitting in silence. The key is finding what helps you quiet the external and internal noise so you can hear that inner voice.

Q: What if I’ve never felt connected to my soul or inner wisdom?

A: The connection exists whether you’ve consciously felt it or not—it’s simply been obscured. You may have experienced it without recognizing it: those moments of intuition when you “just knew” something, times of unexpected clarity, or when you felt deeply at peace. Start small by creating moments of stillness and paying attention to subtle feelings and knowings that arise. The connection strengthens with practice and attention.

Q: How can I tell if I’m making progress in connecting with my soul?

A: Signs of deepening connection include: increased moments of clarity and insight, feeling more grounded and at peace, experiencing greater creativity and intuition, finding it easier to make decisions that align with your values, less reactivity to external circumstances, and a growing sense of trust in yourself and your path. Progress isn’t always linear—honor wherever you are in the journey.

Q: Why does Jung emphasize dreams so much in understanding the soul?

A: Jung recognized that dreams are messages from the unconscious—the part of us beyond our conscious awareness and ego. In dreams, our soul can communicate more freely because our logical, fearful mind is resting. Dreams reveal how our deeper self sees us and our situation, often quite differently from our conscious perspective. They offer symbols, insights, and wisdom that our waking mind might dismiss or overlook.
